Are you ready for the challenge?
The Bournemouth Festival is one of the largest and well established of its kind in the UK and last year had over 120 Mini teams with over 40 Junior teams in age groups between U7 and U16. With over 10,000 players the event promises to be a great end to playing for CIYMS Minis. The Holiday accommodation is at the popular Sandford Holiday Park, which includes a variety of restaurants and evening entertainment.
When the action finishes on the pitch, the P7 team can enjoy a huge variety of sports and leisure facilities. Activities include a heated indoor pool, tennis, table tennis, short mat bowls, crazy golf, multi-sport court for football or basketball, outdoor play areas with a climbing wall and amusement arcade. There is also Tenpin Bowling !
Schedule
Friday 8th April
Flight Leaves Belfast at 12.40 arriving in Heathrow at 14.00, with Coach transfer to Holiday Village. Accommodation at the Sandy Balls Holiday Village will be available from 4pm. The coaches will attend a welcome meeting on the Friday evening while parents and kids enjoy a full evening of entertainment and free time.
Saturday 9th April
The Oakmeadians Rugby Club will be hosting a tournament starting at 09.30 hours (we need to be ready to leave at 08.45). All matches will start at 10.00 hours. The tournament will finish at 14.30 approx with transfers back to the Holiday Village.
Sunday 10th May
The Sunday will be the festival at Bournemouth RFC. Everyone will need to leave the accommodation at 08.00 hours for all matches starting at 09.00 hours. A full day of rugby and matches will end around 16.00 hours. With transfers back to the Holiday village for an evening of free time and fun.
Monday 11th April
The players, dads and coaches will all check out before 10.00 hours with plenty of free time for enjoying the fun and activities at the Village. The coach will leave around 14.00 to 15.00 hours heading back to Southampton for a 18.30 hours flight back to Belfast City Airport for around 19.50 hours.
